Howard Street Charter School is its own employer. As a charter school, we directly hire Oregon licensed teachers and non-licensed professionals with a charter registration through Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices.

Howard Street uses a hiring process that includes an interview, written responses, and teaching demonstrations.

Qualifications

College Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s - Education preferred)

Criminal Background Check - Fingerprinting

Oregon Teaching License or Oregon Charter School Registration
