Howard Street Charter School is a small middle school serving 162 students grades 6-8 throughout the Salem-Keizer area.
Our Curriculum is based on the 3Es: Einstein (science, technology, engineering and math), Ellington (the fine and performing arts) and Esperanza (the Humanities and Spanish).
We stress proficiency, performance and project-based learning at all levels.

Enjoy our spring sessions - Fencing returns on Wednesdays! As does Board Games on Fridays. Sign ups were emailed home before spring break. Remember a student needs to sign up for sessions except for Homework Zone and Music Sectionals.

Parents Matter: Helping Teens Deal with Stress in a Healthy Manner
All parents (not just Howard Street families) are invited to a session by Marion County on dealing with teen stress. The session will talk about ways to help your teen as well as warning signs. Join us at 6:30pm on April 24 in Rm 182.
